Room of One's Own
Room, Canada's oldest literary magazine for women writers, launched it's 30th anniversary issue with an interview with Devyani Saltzman about the next generation of feminism. They also commissioned her for the cover image, a photo of a group of women in Mumbai. (www.roommagazine.com)
TOK: Writing the New Toronto
Devyani will contribute a piece to TOK Book 2, an anthology of new Toronto writing, coming in Spring 2007. Her work will be presented alongside Kerri Sakamoto, Rabindranath Maharaj, and Afua Cooper.

Devyani read in New Delhi, India in August 2006 at Oxford Bookstore. It was her first reading, organized by Penguin, in the country since the book's publication.
Devyani will be reading at the 2006 South Asian Literary & Theatre Arts Festival at the Smithsonian on November 4th, alongside Man Booker prize winner Kiran Desai, Tarun Tejpal, and Nepali author Samrat Upadhyay.
